Introduction to the Book:

This is a collection of brief writings. These articles were published as editorial notes in the monthly Ishraq over the past few years. The contents mostly consist of discussions on religious, social, and political topics, all inspired by the thoughts of the esteemed scholar Javed Ahmed Ghamidi. The articles have been arranged into categories based on their style and subject. “Deen-o-Danish” includes essays based on purely religious reasoning. “Islah-o-Dawat” contains exhortative writings aimed at individual moral reform. “Tareekh-o-Siyasat” gathers articles analyzing national and communal issues. “Haalat-o-Waqiaat” narrates certain incidents from the author’s missionary journeys. “Tazkira-o-Tabassurah” includes some selected obituaries and book reviews. These writings were crafted with the purpose of inviting people to follow the guidance of religion in their individual and collective lives.
